General Background: Educational institutions increasingly require leadership approaches capable of supporting adaptation, staff motivation, innovation, and sustained organizational performance. Specific Background: Primary school principals play a central role in creating supportive environments and directing teachers toward school objectives, making inspirational leadership relevant to organizational excellence. Knowledge Gap: The manuscript identifies a need to examine these constructs jointly among primary school principals within the educational context of Salah al-Din Governorate, Iraq. Aims: This descriptive correlational study examined inspirational leadership, organizational excellence, and their association using two established scales and a sample reported as 200 participants. Results: Organizational excellence recorded a mean of 163.24 against a hypothesized mean of 132 (t = 16.36). Inspirational leadership was reported as statistically significant (t = 2.39), although the corresponding table lists a mean of 101 against a hypothesized mean of 111. Most notably, inspirational leadership showed a strong positive correlation with organizational excellence (r = 0.897), reported as statistically significant. Novelty: The study provides context-specific evidence linking inspirational leadership with organizational excellence in Iraqi primary-school administration. Implications: Leadership-development programs emphasizing communication, motivation, positive relationships, innovation, collaboration, and continuous performance evaluation may support stronger organizational practices in schools.
